From Crisis to Comeback: The Fixer Who Became the Patient

Clinical social worker, crisis interventionist, the person other people called when their own systems were collapsing. Then her own system collapsed.

When the Expert Becomes the Case

Trè Anne’s story begins with a 10 pound mass in her colon, a permanent ileostomy, and a 5% survival prognosis. As a clinical social worker she knew the architecture of trauma and the language of recovery long before she ever needed them for herself. None of it prepared her for the rupture of becoming the patient. The fixer, the one who held the framework for everyone else, suddenly had to live inside the framework. In her own words, she became the case.

Systemic Reconstruction, Not Recovery

What came next is not a recovery story in the usual sense. Trè Anne calls it systemic reconstruction. Body, mind, emotional regulation, identity, and finances, rebuilt from the ground up. She formalized her practice in financial behavior as a Certified Financial Social Worker. She deepened her capacity for high level transformation as a Master Certified Professional Coach with an ICF accreditation. And through direct market participation and alternative assets, she stepped into the role of investor, applying the behavioral principles she was refining in real time.

What Psychological Capital Actually Means

In this conversation Trè Anne separates her work from therapy and from traditional coaching. She uses the term psychological capital deliberately. It is not mindset. It is not mental health. It is an asset class, made up of attention, judgment, and the internal resources that high performing leaders are spending every day without measuring. Her argument is simple. Most executives can quantify their financial capital to the dollar, but they have never audited the gap between their external success and their internal capacity.

Today Trè Anne runs a private advisory called Mental Wealth Worker. She works with a small number of founders, executives, and investors, conducting discreet audits of what she calls their internal operating system. The methodology pulls in concepts she has developed and refined through her own reconstruction and through mentorship with operators including Coach JV Vazquez. ROSI, which she defines as Return on Shared Intelligence. Cognitive Capital. The audit is designed to eliminate internal inefficiencies before they become external losses.
